What is EET 2.0?

EET (elektronická evidence tržeb) is the Czech electronic registration of sales. Under Act No. 180/2026 Coll., every business that takes payments in person, by cash, card, QR code or voucher, must send each sale to the Financial Administration (Finanční správa) online, at the moment of payment.

Online payments through a payment gateway and bank transfers are not included. A printed receipt is not required unless the customer asks for one.

What a business needs: a certificate from its DIS+ tax account, and a till that reports every sale. VeloSeatly POS does the reporting for you.

PlatformIs VeloSeatly only for restaurants?

No. It started in restaurants, and that is where it is most complete today. Every business runs on the same processes: expenses, invoices, emails, customers, reviews and employees. VeloSeatly covers them for any business that serves a customer, and adds the modules your industry needs.

ModulesHow fast can you build a new module, and what does it cost?

Describe it in the request form, by voice or text. Small changes take hours. A complete new module takes 24 hours. Modules that connect to outside systems, such as banks or accounting software, can take longer, and we tell you before we start. For existing customers, custom modules are free.

PaymentsHow can card fees be as low as 0%?

Payments run through Viva.com. When you pay business expenses with your Viva.com business card, Viva.com credits back the fees you paid on card payments as cashback, every day. The more you spend with the card, the closer your net fees get to 0%.

PaymentsWhich payments are not covered by the cashback?

American Express, business and commercial cards, and online payments with cards issued outside the EEA. Fees on these payments are charged as usual. Viva.com terms and conditions apply.

EET 2.0What is EET 2.0, and do I need it?

Only if your business is in the Czech Republic and takes payments in person. From 1 January 2027 every such sale must be reported to the Finanční správa online. VeloSeatly POS reports each sale automatically and keeps working when the internet drops.

PlatformWhat does VeloSeatly cost?

A flat monthly price per business, with unlimited users and devices. No licence tied to your turnover, no setup fee, no contract. Write to us for the current price list.

PlatformDo I need new hardware?

No. VeloSeatly runs in the browser on the computers, tablets and phones you already have. For card payments you need a Viva.com terminal.

PlatformWhere is my data stored?

On servers in the European Union. Each business has its own storage, users and permissions, and you can export your data at any time.
